A computer fanatic since birth or thereabouts, Michi's early exploits include beating Donkey Kong (Game & Watch) blindfolded, learning English by Zork, and narrowly avoiding the death penalty for synthesizing Legrand's "The Windmills of your Mind", picking the frequencies for the SOUND command by ear alone.
In his pre-teens, as his contemporaries hung out in parks, drinking, smoking and breaking into each other's clothes, this gentler, paler soul spent his precious free time divided between state-sponsored software piracy and programming class. There, instead of reiterating the intricacies of 10 PRINT "HEJ!" for the third week in a row, he demoralized pupils and teachers alike by turning the Commodore balloon sprite into the semblance of a game. Such was the beginning of decades of crime that would, after billions of projects started and a handful or two completed, culminate in this site.
When not making games, Michi earns his living building real-time systems for financial transactions. This is not nearly as boring as it sounds.
