Registration

To Hell with Johnny is licensed for personal use. The license is not transferable, but you may install and register multiple copies on computers used by you and your immediate family using a single registration key.

You may not use a registration key to unlock the game on publicly accessible machines without removing the installation and/or registration immediately after leaving said machine.

The registration key is to be seen as confidential information. We reserve the right to revoke a key in part or in full should it become publicly available, whether by intent or by mistake. In case of key revocation there will be no refund of the registration fee. A replacement key may or may not be offered to the original buyer at our discretion.

Distribution

You are allowed and encouraged to distribute To Hell with Johnny in a non-commercial way subject to the following conditions:

• Such distribution includes only the original and unaltered installer supplied by michi.nu.
• You may not use any kind of installation wrapper to install additional software or present any kind of advertisement in conjunction with the distribution or installation of To Hell with Johnny. This restriction does not extend to advertisements on web pages with download links for To Hell with Johnny.
• No money is charged to the person receiving To Hell with Johnny beyond actual costs of media and postage, provided these do not exceed 30% of the michi.nu registration fee.
• No registration information is distributed with the installer or supplied in any way in relation to the distribution.

Commercial periodical publications may distribute To Hell with Johnny on their cover disks without special permission subject to the following conditions:

• Such distribution includes only the original and unaltered installer supplied by michi.nu.
• The latest version of the game available from http://www.michi.nu/games/johnny/ at the time of media creation is used.
• You may not use any kind of installation wrapper to install additional software or present any kind of advertisement in conjuction with the installation of To Hell with Johnny.
• No registration information is distributed with the archive or supplied in any way in relation to the distribution.

You may not distribute To Hell with Johnny under any other conditions than the above without prior written permission. You may not distribute the installer-free zip archive without prior written permission.

Under no circumstances will permission be granted to bundle the game with spyware, adware or any other kind of malware. Don't waste your time asking. Any such distribution is a blatant violation against this license as well as any reasonable ethics system, and should be reported to alerts@michi.nu so that we may take action, legal or otherwise, to make it stop.

Global scores

The online scores feature is provided to registered customers as an extra service and is not to be seen as included in the registration fee. We do not guarantee uptime or access, and we reserve the right to discontinue the service without refund at any time, for any reason, and for any and all users.

Cheat and hack attempts, as well as inappropriate name entries, may result in a temporary or permanent ban from posting and/or viewing global scores.

To post or display online top scores, the game transmits data to our servers over the public Internet. This data contains only game information and your registration name and key encrypted. No other information about you or your computer is transmitted in these requests.

Disclaimer of Warranty

A lot of effort has gone into making To Hell with Johnny as free of bugs as possible, but because of the many software and hardware environments into which it can be made to run, the game and the accompanying files come "as is" and without any warranties whether expressed or implied. You, as the user, must assume the entire risk of running the program. Any liability of the developer/seller will be limited exclusively to product replacement or refund of registration fee.
